Parch-Mint Premium Wood Products began in the 1970s when artistic founder Al Thomas started creating Wedding Parchments as gifts for newlyweds. He continued this passion alongside his career in In-Process Control for a major food company until retiring in 2011.

After retirement, Al turned his small basement woodshop into a business, crafting wooden plaques and mounting parchments for sale. As sales grew—along with the sawdust—he realized the need for more space. This led to the construction of a 1,300-square-foot workshop near his home, where the business found its new home.

At a woodworking show, Al was captivated by a CNC machine demonstration and decided to invest in a 12” x 18” unit. Relying on YouTube tutorials, he mastered the craft and soon expanded his capabilities with a larger 28” x 63” CNC while keeping the smaller one for finer projects. During that period, Al shifted his focus from the parchment aspect of his business to CNC routed products.

Parch-Mint has successfully sold high-quality engraved signs and shelf sitters at craft shows and on Etsy. Due to health concerns, Al has since shifted his focus to Etsy sales exclusively, continuing to offer his handcrafted creations online.

CUSTOM ORDERS:

All Custom Orders are to be paid in full prior to work beginning. Work on the item(s) will begin starting after the 24 hour period to allow for purchase of materials, modifications or cancellations. Completion date will vary depending on the complex nature of the order. On occasion, orders will be delayed due to the amount of time needed to complete the order.

RETURNS:

Please contact us prior to any Returns for resolution! Returns will only be accepted for replacement or refund on damaged or incorrect items.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:

Order Cancellations on STANDARD STOCK ITEMS will be accepted and refunded in full if the request is made within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, and prior to shipping, there will be a 75% refund of the cost of the item to cover the cost of time and materials already invested in the order. Shipping charges will be refunded in full.

Order Cancellations on CUSTOM ORDERS will be accepted and refunded in full if the request is made within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, and prior to shipping, NO REFUND will be accepted.

All item(s) once shipped are tracked by the Shipper and Tracking Notices are sent. If the item(s) are recorded as “Delivered” by the Shipper and are not received by you, it is YOUR responsibility to contact the Shipper and file a Missing Delivery Report and have them investigate.
